This app developed on behalf of Kerala Agricultural University.This mobile application is intended for providing weather based forewarning of pests of paddy for various blocks.
In the initial phase few agro ecological units were selected for issuing forewarning of pests.
Moreover block level weather forecasts for selected agro ecological units are being issued by the India Meteorological Department.
This application is a rule based model the accuracy of which solely depends on the authenticity of block level weather forecasts issued by the India Meteorological Department.
